You can visit Phoenix Ridge from south to north, passing by Wangxiangtai, Xianque, Xianwu Peak, Wangqintai, Yuntaiguan, Chongyang Pavilion, Phoenix Tree, Zhenwu Ascending Place, Wangxianyuan and other scenic spots along the way. There are two thousand-year-old maples on the ridge. One is planted on the slope and the other grows under the slope. The distance between them is about 30 meters, and the canopy is about 17 meters high. What's peculiar is that these two trees actually grow to each other, and they are dependent on each other. They are known as the "King of Maple" and the "Queen of Maple". According to legend, they were transformed by a pair of phoenixes, and the name of Phoenix Ridge came from this. The two ancient maples belong to the five-cornered maple. They are verdant in spring and summer, and red leaves are like fire in autumn. On the cliff of Phoenix Ridge, there is a building called "Chongyang Pavilion". The pavilion is four stories high and has white walls and black eaves. In addition, the famous glass plank road in Yuntaishan is located here.
