Disconformity is a stratigraphic contact, strata both above and below which have similar or the same attitudes. In Yuntaishan, the carbonate rock under the disconformity deposited in Ordovician about 440 million years ago, while the shale stone over the conformity deposited in Carboniferous about 320 million years ago.
