01.Ancient Buddhist temple - Wanshan Temple

Wanshan Temple was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, when Mount Yuntai was chosen to build a temple, with the meaning of being in the center of the four directions, the earth gives birth to all things, and all laws return to the clan. The name of the temple was given by Emperor Shenzong. For more than 400 years, through successive dynasties, especially in recent decades, several expansions and renovations, Wanshan Temple has become the scale of today. The ancient Wanshan Temple is located in the middle of the Yuntai Mountain, which is complemented by the beautiful scenery.

02.A sacred place for the literati and monks of the past generations - Juhu Peak

It is the highest peak on Mount Yuntai, with dense vegetation, ancient trees and a forest coverage rate of over 93%. Literati and scholars, monks and Taoists have practiced here for many generations, leaving behind a large number of ruins, cliffs, inscriptions and poems. In the Tang Dynasty, Sun Simiao, the King of Medicine, used to collect medicine and make pills here, leaving behind such relics as the Medicine King Cave. At the top of the Cornu Peak is the Taoist building Xuan Di Palace, which is dedicated to Zhen Wu Da Di, who is said to have attained immortality on Mount Yuntai.

Stepping on the thousand-step cloud stairway to the top of the peak, you can see the mountains rolling by and the clouds moving, giving you a sense of grandeur of "being at the top of the mountain and seeing all the mountains". Wang Wei, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty, once climbed to this peak and wrote, "Being a stranger in a foreign land, I miss my relatives every time I am in a festive season. The famous line, "When I know that my brother is at the top of the mountain, I have inserted dogwoods everywhere. The peak is 1297.6 meters above sea level, and it takes about 2 hours to climb to the top, but the views are endless.
