Wang Shiguo, director of the Bureau of Land and Resources of Xiuwu County, attended the launching ceremony. At the same time, the relevant persons in charge of each park of Wangwu Mountain-Daimei Mountain World Geopark and Yuntaishan World Geological Park were also invited to attend the launching ceremony.

In recent years, the Yuntaishan Global Geopark has received tens of millions of domestic and foreign visitors, and has played a great role in protecting geological relics, popularizing geological knowledge, enhancing the ability of science popularization, and promoting economic development, etc. In 2017, the Ministry of Land and Resources and the Ministry of Science and Technology named the Yuntaishan Global Geopark as the "National Science Popularization Base of Land and Resources". This time, the first joint exhibition of the scientific popularization base of national land and resources with the theme of "Exploring the mysteries of the earth by entering the palace of the earth" was held by the Science and Technology Department of the Provincial Department of Land and Resources. Geological Environment Department, the initiative of Henan Provincial Geological Museum. Yuntaishan, Wangwu Mountain - Demei Mountain World Geological Park and other land and resource science bases actively respond and carry out an important popularization of science activities. The 27 precious paleontological fossil specimens from Henan Provincial Geological Museum and Wang You Shan - Xiong Mei Shan World Geopark, together with 326 specimens, pictures, panels and other displays from Yuntaishan Global Geopark Museum, offered a feast of science popularization to the public.

Through this exhibition, we have created a platform for the public to learn geological science and improve the quality of science, and through this platform, we have shown the rich connotation of geological science and geological science in Jiaozuo City as well as in Hunan Province, and made a new contribution to improve the public's scientific literacy, protect geological relics and promote the rapid development of local economy.
