Yuntaishan is one of the first batch of
Global Geoparks and a national 5A-level scenic spot. As a shining pearl of the
Taihang Mountains in China, it boasts the "First Marvelous Valley of
China," the Hongshixia Valley, and the highest waterfall in Asia, the
Yuntaifeipu Waterfall. It is also the hermitage of the Seven Sages of the
Bamboo Grove and the mountain where the poet Wang Wei reminisced about his
hometown from a high vantage point! The majestic natural landscapes and rich
cultural heritage attract over 7 million domestic and international visitors
each year, including many international friends and tourists from South Korea,
Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other countries.
Recently, the "39th Seoul
International Travel Fair" was held in Seoul, South Korea. Yuntaishan, as
the essence of Henan's landscapes, made a stunning appearance in the Chinese
exhibition area. The display, themed "Wonder of the Valleys,"
showcased its rich and mature tourism products and diverse service experiences,
which were highly favored by local South Korean visitors. At the same time,
during the exhibition, Yuntaishan had in-depth discussions with the Korea-China
Silk Road International Exchange Association and signed a strategic cooperation
agreement with Vice Chairman Lin Manze. Both parties reached a consensus on
promoting Sino-Korean friendship, cultural exchanges, and mutual attraction of
tourists, and actively carried out in-depth cooperation.
During the exhibition, through active visits and interactive
docking, Yuntaishan signed agreements with several South Korean travel agencies
to bring in tourists, expecting to attract 100,000 South Korean visitors to
experience the unique charm of the Chinese Valley - Yuntaishan.
In recent years, Yuntaishan has been based on a new development
pattern, expanded global markets, actively created high-quality routes and
products, and carried out precise marketing and promotion through a combination
of online and offline, multi-faceted, multi-angle, and multi-channel
approaches. "Going out" and "bringing in" have been used to
carry out cultural and tourism promotions and promote domestic and
international cultural and tourism cooperation. Since the beginning of this
year, tourism teams from more than ten countries, including Malaysia, South
Korea, Thailand, Australia, the UK, the US, Singapore, Vietnam, and Canada,
have entered Yuntaishan and embarked on a dreamlike and stunning canyon
journey.
