Yuntaishan Global Geopark and Keshketeng Global Geopark become sister Geoparks |

On October 16, the signing ceremony of the "Sister Geoparks" friendly cooperation agreement between Yuntaishan Global Geopark and Keshketeng Global Geopark was held.
According to the agreement reached, the two sides will share park management concepts and management experience means; Research methods, skills and results for sharing cultural and natural resources; Conduct research, education, communication and advocacy on resources and the environment on common themes; Carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation in 12 aspects, including leisure and eco-tourism management and planning exchanges, to promote sustainable development. Keshketen Global Geopark is located in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia Plateau, northwest of Chifeng City, covers an area of 1343 square kilometers, is located in the Yanshan Mountains, Greater Hinggan Mountains and Hunshandake Sandy land three major landforms of the junction, the special geological structure creates a beautiful and magical natural landscape here. The world's rare Ashatu stone forest, the magical green mountains "nine POTS and eighteen POTS", the endless Gongar grassland, the lush Huanggangliang primitive forest, the flat-top mountain with Quaternary glacial remains, the beautiful Dalinor Lake and the Silamulen River, which stretches thousands of miles. Yuntaishan Global Geopark, located in our city, is a comprehensive geopark with scientific value and aesthetic value, mainly composed of rift valley structure, hydrodynamic action and geological landform landscape, supplemented by natural ecology and human landscape.
