The Museum of Yuntaishan Global Geopark Conducts Summer Science Promotion

During the summer vacation, the Yuntaishan Global Geopark Museum takes the promotion of science and technology knowledge as the center, carefully serves the visitors and carries out colorful and entertaining science and technology education activities. Recently, the staff of Jiaozuo City Science and Technology Museum brought about 48 students from six counties and four districts to carry out the "Jiaozuo City 2017 Award Essay Contest and Science and Technology Summer Camp Activity for Visiting Science and Technology Exhibition and Feeling the Charm of Science" in the Yuntaishan Global Geopark Museum.

The museum staff carefully and meticulously explained the overall overview of the museum, the distribution of each exhibition hall and the highlights of the exhibition halls, and led the students to understand each exhibition hall in detail, making full use of diverse and multiform high-tech means such as pictures, texts, models, objects, movies, virtual reality and interactive visitors to comprehensively display the geomorphological evolution and geological features of the Yuntaishan Global Geopark, and popularize the protection of geological relics and geological science knowledge.
